Chillin' Okinawa style

The no cell phone sign, warm red walls lined with real Okinawan memories and a small dining area are all reasons why Habuya Okinawan Dining is our new favorite chill spot.

Located off Red Hill on the 5, Habuya is open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Tustin.

Brewed and popular in Okinawa, Orion beer is a Habuya chef favorite.

The beer was good, the food was delicious and the staff were Okinawan-friendly. The whole vibe made you just want to chill out, eat and chat.

Sliced pork belly and radish stewed in a savory broth.

Inside the stewed pork belly and radish dish.

This dish was far from salty and was the perfect comfort food.

Marinated raw squid (left clockwise), green onion pancake and pork belly.

We thought we ordered the perfect combination for a late night beer.
